For € 25 you can rent a piece of land (approx. 90 square meters) for one season (April to October) - very close to the accommodation, right next to EDEKA. You can grow vegetables there and then harvest them yourself.

You have to buy the seeds yourself, but water for watering is free. Contact the Helferkreis Office or send an e-mail to HKOffice@hk-woerthsee.de if you are interested.

In Wörthsee there is a “Wörthseeacker”, which is an agricultural area that has been made available to hobby gardeners by the municipality for 4 years. It is conveniently located on Etterschlager Straße, between the SC Wörthsee parking lot and EDEKA Günl, where hobby gardeners can enjoy growing vegetables, herbs and flowers! The area is divided into 25 plots of approx. 90 square meters each, which can be rented for one season (mid-April - October).  

The special thing about the “Wörthseeacker”, apart from the good transport links and the large plots, is that the municipality provides water for cultivation. Cultivating a plot of land is sustainable, fun, saves money, is also educational for children and, above all, offers the opportunity to come into contact with one another.

The Wörthsee field is prepared for cultivation at the start of the season (depending on the weather, mid to late April). The plot can be worked well before the ice saints in mid-May, potatoes and onions can be planted and vegetables sown.
